COLEGIO DE LA INMACULADA CONCEPCION DE LA CONCORDIA (La Concordia College)- Is a private school in
Manila, Philippines. Founded on May 3, 1868 by a wealthy philanthropist, Doña Margarita Roxas de Ayala.
On July 22, 1862 fifteen Daughters of Charity arrived in the Philippines after a three months journey
from Spain aboard
the frigate Conception.
Six years after, in 1868, the school was officially named Colegio de la Inmaculada Concepcion de la
Concordia, at the same time that it became the Central House of the Daughters of Charity in the
Philippines.
